It’s been another busy week at the lab, but with varying success. A large section of the room with the mysterious glyphs seems to be just random nouns. The translation itself is going well - we’re doing our best to make educated guesses at symbols which bare no resemblance to anything at all. I guess it’s constructing the history itself which is causing issues. The room doesn’t appear to be a burial chamber; In fact, there’s no evidence anywhere on the site that the Hayari practiced burial. Therefore, Profesor Harjin is reluctant to go with a list of grave goods as an explanation. I’m rather intrigued, but at the end of the day, it’s his mystery and not ours. We’ve just got to keep going with the reconstruction of the ancient Hayari language.
