We’ve been working on trialling the connections we made between ancient Hayari and the as-yet unclassified script found three days ago, and the results so far appear positive. Admittedly, not all elements match up (although that was to be expected), but we’ve been able to piece together a few possible translations from the temple glyphs. So far, we’ve identified several words relating to conquests and battles, as well as names similar to those of later Hayari deities.

The inscribed pottery itself has been identified as having early Hayari poetry on it, though the content seems a little morbid for me. It’s sort of close to Klingon poetry. Enough said! Still, it’s definitely gone a long way to connecting what we know and what we don’t. Let’s hope this hasn’t just been a coincidence, and the theory carries on being successful.
