"Another day...another probe is away." Joe sighs as he plops down in the lounge chair facing the window of his quarters. Thor curls up next to him making a grunt as he does so.

He takes his boots off and leans back "This mission has been eventful and I think its coming to an end soon. My uh...trigger finger got a little itchy after having those torpedoes loaded a couple days ago."

Joe reaches down to scratch Thor's back and chuckles "The downside of transferring from a combat vessel to a ship like the Boston. I wonder if the skipper knows he has a trigger happy ensign as a tactical officer." He folds his arms and stares out the window.

"In any case, the staged "raid" apparently went south the moment I saw Kyr enter the bridge. Elli was in charge at the time but luckily the skipper showed up. It was good to see everyone on the Boston again." He sighs heavily "You know...I've never gotten the chance to sit in the big chair, even back on the Merigold. Of course at that time I was still a fresh nugget of an Ensign. "

The tall ensign chuckles, his hand once more was moving gently across Thor's back "I think I should run some combat sims in the holodeck, that'll relieve my urge to shoot something. It'll have to do until T'Pora joins the Boston family, her presence does have a sense of calm..."

He rubs his chin for a moment thinking about his fiancée "Computer...access playlist Harper One, play track 103 and end log."

Saturday Night's Alright for Fighting by Elton John starts playing once the recording ends.
