Day one of our little trip and already I’m wishing we could just be there already. These shuttles aren’t made to carry three people. Still, Carmen and Tirik have been good company. They were singing earlier, which was nice. It might not be so nice after three days though!
I’ve been reading the archaeological reports from the Hayari project. They really are fascinating! Dad would love to be a part of this. They were excavating the ruins of an ancient temple complex, about two months ago, when they uncovered a room with walls covered in little glyphs, floor to ceiling. These glyphs bare no resemblance to modern Hayari script at first glance, which is the interesting part. I’ll be joining the new team attempting to decipher them.
