*Joe finds him self staring out the window of his quarters with his hands clasped behind his back*

With Lt. Commander Santori now onboard the Boston, I think its safe to consider this mission a success. I'm sure many of us are relieved to finally leave this blasted world and get back to our real purpose which is exploring the unknown. However, we still have some loose ends to clear up first, hopefully we can get those done quickly. It was...a shame to see Grenkat leave the Boston, again, but I believe we'll see him once more in due time given the situation on Pirakta.

*There's a short pause in the recording*

I've recieved some messages frome Earth, looks like my step-mother along with my brother and sisters have eased into their new home in Las Vegas. They'll hate the heat but I think they'll get used to it. I'm sure my grandparents will appreciate the extra help in running their museum and restoring old aircraft. Apparently T'Pora is headed to Earth for the upcoming holidays, *he sighs heavily*, I wish I was there. Its been known that the first christmas on a starship can be...tough...but I think I can manage it. I might take the chance to brew some rum infused eggnog, although I've heard rumors that the Captain used to run a small jazz band onboard... That could give me the opportunity to break out the old Tenor Sax.

Whatever challenges lay ahead for the crew of the Boston, you can be damn sure that I'm ready to face em...
