Legs by ZZ Top plays in the background as Joe stares out the window of his quarters with his arms folded.

"I think it's safe to say that this mission was a success. The Boston is enroute to Fozi'a with the Atlantis in tow and we'll be getting the Counselor back in no time." He sighs heavily then glances around his room.

"Given everything that happened I'm amazed the whole operation went smoothly. There were moments when I thought it'd end up being another situation like Pirakta. But we pulled through, whatever happens after this who knows."

The tall ensign walks over to his chair and sits down, lifting is feet up on the desk as he does so. "The capture of the Atlantis went off without firing a single shot...on my end at least." His voice sounded almost disappointed at the thought of that. "Apparently the away team encountered light resistance and the Cardies were no problem for the Tathi warriors."

He sighs as the music changes to My way, Soon by Greta Van Fleet. "We've been offered the chance to receive technology from the Tathi. Given how...twitchy some of the old girl's systems can be, it looks like we'll be getting a sensor hub upgrade. I hope that will include the targeting sensors, if they're compatible we'll have an easier time tracking multiple targets along with a faster lock on. Well...there's only one way to find out...end log."
