Ensign Lyras Personal Log.
Stardate: 39211.7

I've just returned from our shuttle mission through the Beta Penthe asteroid field. Went without significant issue. Although it seems I was there merely to jockey the power levels on the deflector. I'd prepared to be monitoring the data-link, but I guess T'Pamme felt I was the right person on the ship to wobble deflector energies. *Rolls her eyes* Not that I'm complaining, was easy work, even with a pair of Klingons breathing down our necks.

Nathan, Nathaniel, Oh now I cannot remember his name. *self-frustrated look, 4-second pause* Oh well it will come to me. He had a clever idea, salvaging energy from the EVA suit power packs. Pulled us through in a pinch.

I finally got my response from LCARS R&D, Wasn't expecting to hear anything while we were on-mission, but apparently it's been in the computer for a number of days and I've been just so distracted with the while isolinear infection that...well...they are reviewing my re-write of the functional balance constraints. *leaks excitement* There's hope. *looks into the log recorder* Live the dream.

Computer, end log entry.
