Tinker Time

*Kelley's quarters are dim and quiet, until the hiss of the doors opening breaks the silence. A VERY messy Ensign Brevo walks in with a huge smile upon her face. Her hair is everywhere as she moves to the desk in her room and places a cleaned up plasma injector onto it. Calling out for the lights, the room brightens revealing she is covered in greases and grim.*

Computer. Start personal log.

I knew one day I would be able to come to Ang station for parts and I was not disappointed. It was not exactly what I was expecting but, it was strange and interesting...... and fun. I did a bit of window shopping as soon as I got there and went to what seemed to be a common area where there was this game called Dabo. It seemed to be like the old Earth game roulette mixed with a slot machine. I did not really understand how you win or lose, but after three spins I had won 161 bars of something called Gold Pressed Latinum. This stuff is made of some strange metal, apparently Latinum, plated with gold. It was quite heavy lugging it around while I was shopping for parts. Speaking of parts, I am pretty sure I got ripped off, but at the same time, I spent about 900EC for all of that Latinum anyways. So I suppose it was worth it.

Once the parts were transported to the ship, I decided to follow them up and get to work on giving them a once over and getting them cleaned up. All but one part were in workable condition after being cleaned, a plasma injector. From what I can tell, something inside is misalined and would misfire if installed. This should be a pretty easy fix however. The parts are being stored in the shuttle bay next to the work area where the shuttle will be constructed. Fabrication has started on the basic hull of the craft to give us a starting point to build onto. Once these pieces have been made, we will begin construction of the hull and get started on the propulsion system and life support. I am confident this shuttle will come together without any major issues.

On another note, I am still waiting on confirmation of the work orders I turned in to our Chief Engineer. The modifications proposed should assist in our next warp speed trial and increase the effeciency of the power system as well as add more structure to the hull where it buckled in the simulations. I will resubmit the work orders in case there was an issue that I did not know about..

Anyways... that's it for now...
