Personal History		Kell Toran began her career aboard the Starship Boston, having just recently graduated from the Academy, majoring in both Operations and Engineering. Eager and young, she set off to become the very best. Kell Toran entered the command training program as a Lieutenant on board the USS Galaxy. In the early days of the Dominion War, she quickly rose to the challenge of Command, repeatedly selected for Away Team and special project leadership roles. By the end of the war, Commander Toran was selected to serve as an instructor for an Academy cruise. It was during that cruise that Captain S'Van submitted his recommendation that Toran be made a candidate for an Commanding officer position. In 2376, the newly promoted Captain Toran was appointed Commanding Officer of the Excelsior-class USS Algonquin, where she served with honor and grace though many wars, great perils, and grand triumphs. In 2415, the Algonquin was decommissioned. Refusing to retire, Captain Toran was offered command of the newly refitted Galaxy-class USS Atlantis halfway though the vessel's refit. Toran was present at every step since, working tirelessly to ensure her vessel was ready. Since it's launch in 2417, the Atlantis, and her Captain, have served the Federation's interests to the highest caliber possible.
